About Veronika

Hello, I’m Veronika

Yoga teacher, busy mum of two and the founder of RaiRightNow. For over 15 years I’ve been helping people feel good in their bodies, from Kazakhstan to Kent.

My story

How yoga found me

My love of yoga started at home in Kazakhstan. I absolutely loved going to classes at my local leisure centre, and I still remember how I felt walking out afterwards.

Years later I was in Cyprus, studying for my qualification in business management, when a friend invited me to lead a morning of yoga for children at a summer school where they were learning English. I didn’t know it then, but that’s where it all began.

For a while I worked in a corporate world, at an estate agency in Cyprus. It was a good job, but I felt I needed more. Life took me all the way to India, where I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training, and I’ve never looked back.

Since then I’ve taught in Cyprus, Korea, Kazakhstan and now England. I teach in gyms and yoga studios, give private lessons, host women’s circles and, more recently, day retreats and overnight stays here in Kent.

What I believe

Body, mind and a happy everyday life

I believe in wellbeing beyond the mat. We help ourselves through our bodies and our minds, and that’s how we look after our soul.

That’s why I’m studying positive psychology with Harvard University. Our minds and bodies together are what keep us happy in everyday life, and I bring that into everything I teach.

My advice is simple: do what makes you happy. Make the asanas work for you, and make the exercises available to you, because yoga is for everyone and for every body. If it makes you feel good, do it.

As a busy mum of two, I also know how hard it is to find time for yourself. You need energy and love for yourself before you can share it with the world. That’s what my retreats and circles are for.
