How RaiRightNow collects, uses and protects your personal information.
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Who we are
RaiRightNow (“we”, “us”) runs yoga retreats, events and classes in Kent and London. We are the data controller for personal information collected through rairightnow.co.uk. You can contact us using the contact page.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you send an enquiry, book a retreat or event, message us on WhatsApp, or join our mailing list. This can include your name, email address, phone number, booking and payment details, and any health or dietary information you choose to share so we can keep you safe and comfortable. We only add you to our mailing list if you sign up and confirm your email address.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to enquiries, manage bookings, take payments, send booking confirmations and reminders, and, if you subscribe, send our newsletter. Our lawful bases are performing a contract with you, our legitimate interests in running RaiRightNow, your consent (for marketing emails and any health information), and legal obligations such as keeping financial records.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the website and our bookings. Each processes data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards, and we never sell your data:
- Amazon Web Services, which hosts our website and booking system.
- Square, which takes card payments. Your card details are handled by Square and never stored by us.
- Google Workspace, for our email, and Brevo, which sends booking emails and, if you subscribe, our newsletter.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our contact form from spam.
- Google Analytics, which shows us how the website is used, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to message us or join an event group there.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as the law requires (normally six years). Enquiries are kept for up to two years. You stay on our mailing list until you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time from any email.
Cookies
This website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, such as those that keep bookings and forms secure. With your permission, we also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link. Full details are in our cookie policy.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us via the contact page. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
